Job Objective
Manage production activities for the Brady mfg site to ensure a safe,
environmentally complaint, low cost operation which meets customers'
expectations with respect to quality and timeliness of production.
Provide some engineering support and troubleshooting to the areas of
responsibility as necessary
Essential Functions
- Ensure that the employees in the Plant focus on safety improvements
to support the overall plant effort to reduce injuries.
- Manage change within the department.
- Investigate incidents and take action to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure that plant operations comply with all site safety policies and
procedures.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
Education / Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical, preferred
- Typically 5 or more years of Manufacturing Supervision/Leadership
experience in Chemical Processing environment
- Process and Production Engineering experience
- Excellent people skills with the ability to motivate others
- Experience working in a Union environment is preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA PSM requirements preferred
